Uhmm.. A few Days aGo, I caught a few minutes of the tv show Joan oF Arcadia (her brother Kevin is such a cutie! naks!) and Joan was trying to figure out y God wanted her to do "something bad." Since I had just tuned in, I was dying to know what that bad thing was ! A rabbi told her God would’nt ask her to do anything evil and a priest told her that one of the Devil’s best disguises is taking on God’s form.. then Joan’s Artist friend sold his sculpture (or whatever it was!) uhmm.. for 500 dollars, and things got exciting when he decidedto quit school! it was then that joan realized she should have prevented him from making that decision and she started smashing his sculpture with a steel chair. quite violent, huh? too bad I had to leave so I missed the rest of the show haha i dont know wat happened to joan’s friend or to joan, but what suck with me was how her friend thought he didn’t have to go to school anymore because hehad all he needed to get by in life-his art..
That Really bothred me and Got me thinking-Is school really useless?
I learned the ropes the hard way-the way kid learns how to swim when he or she is thrown into a swimming pool. It’s all survival.
isn’t it? And we’re Born with the instinct. its not like taught to us. I’ve realized.. that I might have an answer. School can’t be useless bcoz even if we dont remember how to do fractions or which preposition to use, we meet our friends there! oops! wrong! haha! let’s try again School may be where you form tightest bonds and make the fondest memories but theres got to be a reason for all studying ryt? and heres wat I think.. SChool prepares you foe life It doesnt simulate life(even if some teachers try their best to do so..) but it shapes you, it molds you, it makes u think.. it exrcise your brain anit teaches u how to learn! yes, u u do learn lot of things u’ll need wen u begin 2 live in d real world.. haist.. paparapapa,,… hehe
